Volunteer Sign Up: April 6th Cruise Demonstration

Seattle Cruise Control, joined by Climate Action Families, XR Seattle & other organizations, invites you to a demonstration on the opening day of the Seattle-Alaska cruise season: Saturday April 6th from 10am - 12pm at the Pier 66 Cruise Terminal! This will be a family-friendly demonstration with lots of art, chants, and music, featuring a press conference where youth, playing sea-creature characters including The Walrax, Doctor Dolphin, and a Worker Whale, speak in Dr. Suess-style rhymes about how cruise ships pollute our waters, poison our air, endanger our health, jeopardize our climate, exploit onboard workers, and overwhelm destination communities.

Below is a list of roles we're looking to fill.

Please ask your organization to endorse this event! Endorsers will be listed on promotion materials, which will help show the Port of Seattle and the cruise companies that there’s a large network of organizations who care about holding this toxic and exploitative industry accountable.
